It is only January but the new season is fast approaching already. We have new Queens arriving to us mid-end of April and we can take orders for your requirements now. Italian, Buckfast, AMM and Caucasian will be arriving, with the Carniolans later in May. Our own local bred Queens should be available again in May so we will take orders for those later in the Spring.
It has been a busy day today, setting up a new Apiary site for 2016 season. Thankfully the sun was out for our enjoyment.
We are now taking pre-orders for Spring 2016. Packages, Nucs & full colonies all available. We are also offering a new nuc – 1 with 12 frames so the colony is even more established and ready to go straight into a full hive with Supers – honey producing from the get-go.
The Season is drawing in fast towards the end so this will be our last lot of Queens available. we expect them to be all sold by Monday so if you need 1, then get your order in quickly.
The season seems to have come to an end so we have stopped selling Nucs and Full Colonies. We will start to take pre-orders for Spring 2016 shortly. We still have queens available until end of August though.
We are booking in all outstanding orders. you should have had an email from us but feel free to email us to arrange your collection/delivery day.
orders placed BEFORE end of March 2015.
You should have had an email asking you to book in bees. If you have not, please drop us a message and we can get you booked in.
orders placed April onwards
May has been a slow month so we are a few weeks behind schedule. Bees are expected to be ready mid to end of June.
Well we are working our way through the overwintered nucs and full colonies and the list is starting to get shorter now. Everyone who ordered before the end of Feb should have had an email but if you have not, then drop us an email directly and we can get you booked in. Weather has been wet which is slowing us down but we are hoping to work on the March orders shortly.
We have our first lot of Queens arrived. Italian, Buckfast and Caucasian Imported, Mated and Marked ready to go.
We have checked many of the overwintered nucs and they all doing well. We still need to check for brood disease and they still need to build up more in size but i would expect them to be ready in about 2-3 weeks. If you have ordered an overwintered, please expect contact from us over the next couple of weeks to arrange collection or delivery
